This Valentine’s Weekend, Bonterra is trading soft candlelight for the bold, colourful, theatrical spirit of Carnivale di Venezia. From February 13th to 15th, we invite you to step into CarneVALENTINO — a playful, decadent, and unmistakably Italian celebration of love in all its forms.

Inspired by the masked balls, grand feasts, and flirtatious energy of Italy’s most famous carnival, CarneVALENTINO blends romance with revelry. Expect dramatic flavours, luxurious ingredients, and a touch of spectacle across a specially curated feature menu designed to be shared, savoured, and celebrated. This Valentine’s Weekend, Bonterra invites you to experience CarneVALENTINO — a refined celebration inspired by the romance, colour, and quiet intrigue of Italian Carnivale.

The evening begins simply, yet indulgently. Delicate Tuna Crudo, accented with blood orange, fennel, pistachio, and Calabrian chilli, sets a vibrant tone. For those drawn to decadence, our Burrata for Two arrives whole, finished with winter truffle honey and roasted grapes — a dish made for lingering.

At the heart of the menu is our Winter Truffle Risotto, finished with Grana Padano and available with an optional 7oz Canadian lobster tail for an added touch of luxury.

For the main event, guests can choose from three share-forward centrepieces:

• AB Beef Tenderloin for Two, served with truffle sauce, silky potato purée, and chestnut mushrooms

• AB Lamb Roast for Two, paired with fennel purée, olive tapenade, fingerling potatoes, and crispy capers

• Amore di Mare, a romantic seafood celebration featuring butter-poached lobster tail, seared Hokkaido scallops, and garlic prawns, finished with winter squash, Tuscan kale, and caper brown butter

Dessert is a moment unto itself. Choose between our classic Chocolate Budino with espresso caramel, sea salt, and hazelnut, or the dramatic elegance of Baked Alaska, layered with lemon gelato, vanilla sponge, toasted meringue, and honey berry compote.

Throughout the weekend, CarneVALENTINO cocktails add a playful nod to Carnivale — with colour-changing elements, delicate cotton candy accents, and hidden notes waiting to be discovered.
