Feast of the Seven Fishes
An Italian Christmas Tradition
On December 22 and 23, Bonterra invites you to celebrate the season with the Feast of the Seven Fishes, a cherished Italian Christmas tradition brought to life this holiday season. Beginning at 4:00 p.m. each evening, our kitchen will serve a beautifully crafted, seafood-forward feature menu inspired by the flavours of Southern Italy’s coastal holiday feasts.
This beloved tradition honours the anticipation of Christmas Eve through a multi-course celebration of the sea—from delicate Hokkaido scallops to warm, comforting plates that capture the spirit of the season. Gather with friends and family, raise a glass, and savour an evening filled with festive ambience, Italian hospitality, and unforgettable dishes.
Menu Highlights:
- Seared Hokkaido scallop over silky shellfish polenta… with a hazelnut crunch.
- Baked oyster swimming in spicy, smoky merguez butter.
- Charred octopus meets pickled mussels and a fresh herb salad—a coastal celebration on a single plate.
- Salted cod with clams, fregula, and bright green olive.
- Lemon ricotta zeppole with curd and sprinkles—a festive finish worth waiting for.
Reserve your table and make Bonterra part of your holiday tradition.
Full table participation is required to enjoy this special feature menu; our regular dinner menu will also be available. Menu modifications are politely declined and subject to change.
