Open Farm Days is a province-wide open house where urban and rural neighbours are invited to visit local farms. On the day, Chef Glen Manzer served a picnic lunch of porchetta sandwiches, barbecue chicken, corn on the cob and salad.
We couldn’t think of a better way to support our pork suppliers than to join them in the fields and help serve a delicious meal.
Along with great food, there was an outdoor farmers market, hayrides, face painting and information about the farm!
